Sad, Sad Day

The run is over, The Sois Fund winning streak is over. It was a nice run. We didn’t do as bad as the S&P or Nasdaq, but we never like to do bad at Sois Inc. I am truly ashamed. I will keep pratce.

Maybe I will do a printer review or something. I let the investors down this month.

No longer the undefeated champ.

No longer the undefeated champ.

Do you like not losing money?

If so, The Sois Fund was the place for your money. In 2009, we didn’t lose a single penny of our original capital. Take that recession! 2010 will be an even stronger year as we diversify and grow the fund. Here is a report that will probably excite you.

The Sois Fund 2009-12

A strong finish to an unpredictable year

Welcome to 2010 everyone. Below is a nice tidy report for December’s performance, which in turn rounds out 2009. We managed to post a 1.28% gain for December, and thus a 33.33% overall performance for the year.

This edition of The Sois Fund – Aggressive Report features a holdings chart which shows what I am holding in my portfolio. Be prepared to laugh – at the moment we only hold two securities. Diversifying the portfolio is top priority over here as I expect the market to soften its climb in the coming months.

It’s that time of the month again

We killed it over here at SOIS for the month of November. A return of over 10% for the month means that we are on the way to seeing a 30%+ return for 2009, which is pretty ridiculous given our rough start. Attached is a one-pager for all you kiddies to gather ’round and enjoy.

SOIS Fund Aggressive Nov 2009

You’ll notice that we’ve done away with the “T-Money” phrasing – we are after all a team here, with an aggressive and a conservative branch (what more do you need, really?).

The goal for December: research some fresh prospective investments and formulate … Continue Reading

Look at me, I’m doing my job

As my first contribution to the SOIS.com Awesome Financial News Source of Awesomeness (tentative title), I updated the performance for the T-Money Fund.

The T-Money Fund is the aggressive portfolio branch of the SOIS Fund family. When I get less lazy (probably next month), I’ll rename everything to match, and the existing regular Sois Fund will updated as well.

As you can see, the beginning of the year hurt us because we’re pretty heavily leveraged in the market, and I jumped in a bit early. That same leverage will pull us out, and we’re not even out of our drawdown (yay!). Stay … Continue Reading

October Performance Posted

Hello All,

Still treading water at The Sois Fund.  Might have to fire Travis.  We are still doing good though.  Just wait until next month.  It will be penultimate.  You might want to give us your $$$.

The Ryto Medis Fund

We will be introducing our new fund, the Ryto Medis Fund, shortly.  We will use option strategies to maximize returns for this portfolio.  Specifically, we will use bull and bear spreads.  This is the most we can say for right now.  The exact formulas and methodologies will be proprietary, but once you see the returns, you will definitely want to sign up.  We will open a subscription period in early 2010.

Quick Sois Fund Tidbit

The Sois Fund has been on cruise control since it returned.  It is holding steady until I get T-Sizzle back in the fold.  Once we determine what the VP of Investments wants to do, we are going to play it safe.  Here is a chart for your eyes.
